Aquaflex KS-100X is a composite waterproof material used to enhance waterproofing coatings when applied onto tiles.

Features

  • High-strength anti-cracking fiber, featuring:
    • Flexural, compressive and impact resistant crushing
    • Preventing tiles from falling off
    • Enhanced service life
  • Strong adhesion, through a combination of high-strength fiberization cohesion technology and the addition of anti-cracking fiber.
    • The coating film is self-contained after it is dried, which makes the tile bond stronger.
  • Product strength rises fast, allowing the waterproof coat to be stronger, and preventing the brick removal phenomenon caused by the falling of the waterproof layer.

Usage Considerations

  • When applying the Aquaflex KS-100X coating, use a brush or scraper to evenly apply the coating on the base surface. The thickness of each coating should be between 0.7mm and 1.0mm, and applied vertically twice.
  • Each coating layer of Aquaflex KS-100X should include a resting interval of more than 4 hours in between.
  • It is recommended that a a pickup & trailer (or construction hopper) be used when considering to use this product.

Recommended Usage Amounts

When applying the waterproofing coating as a film, applying 1mm thickness of will use approximately 1.5~2kg/m2 of Aquaflex KS-100X.

The actual amounts used depend on the actual condition of the base surface, and the required thickness of the waterproof layer.

      What surfaces and structures are most suitable to apply this product?

      Aquaflex KS-100X is particularly effective to apply on the following structures:

      - Waterproof and anti-penetration of exterior walls and interior walls of buildings
      - Waterproof and impervious to the water surface and back surface of underground works
      - Waterproof and moisture proof for indoor kitchen and bathroom, balcony and floor
      - Waterproof and anti-penetration of fire pools, landscape pools, canals and dams

      How should this product be stored?

      Store Aquaflex KS-100X in dry conditions between 5°C and 35°C.

      The rolls must be stored in their original packaging vertically, and away from direct sunlight, rain, snow and ice.
